Registration is now open for the Satori Advanced Bereavement Care Class. This eight-session course meets weekly in two-and-a-half-hour sessions. Participants will learn the historical and foundational beginnings of the modern bereavement support field, theory and practice approaches, key research studies on bereavement, special considerations for serving specific ethnic and cultural populations, a construct for understanding grief among specific age groups and types of loss, approaches for supporting bereaved populations, and techniques for facilitating individual and group grief support.

Anyone working with bereaved populations, including Mental Health Professionals, Social Workers, Chaplains, Funeral Service Professionals, Health Care Professionals, First Responders, Bereavement Support Professionals, End-of-Life/Hospice/Palliative Care Professionals, Bereavement Support Volunteers.
